Dr. Nayak earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Cincinnati before earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He then completed an internship in surgery and residency in orthopaedic surgery, also at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Nayak completed a fellowship with the Cleveland Clinic in the department of orthopaedic surgery, with a concentration in adult reconstruction and shoulder surgery.
Passionate about sports medicine and joint replacement surgery, Dr. Nayak’s areas of expertise include arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder, rotator cuff repair and instability reconstruction for the shoulder, and cartilage preservation procedures, to name a few. He’s also an expert at hip, knee, and shoulder replacement procedures. To ensure patient comfort, Dr.
Nayak relies on the latest techniques in post-surgery pain management, known as OrthoVitals.
Dr. Suresh Nayak has over 25 years of experience practicing Orthopaedic Surgery. As a University of Cincinnati College of Medicine graduate, Dr. Nayak remains in Cincinnati where his current office with Wellington Orthopaedics is located at 7575 Five Mile Road.

In addition to Dr. Nayak’s extensive knowledge, education and training, he also has many awards and recognitions that further define his credibility and expertise in his field. Dr. Nayak is proud to be among the great list of physicians named "Top Doctors in Cincinnati". This title is awarded each year when Cincinnati Magazine surveys local physicians asking whom they would choose if they needed treatment from a local doctor. Dr. Nayak has received this recognition every year since 2014 due to nominations and recommendations by his peers and other top doctors in the Tri-State.
In addition to these achievements and recognitions, Dr. Nayak is also the first doctor in the state of Ohio to perform a total robotic knee surgery. Dr. Nayak stated “Positioning implants with maximum accuracy is the key to improving the patient’s comfort and quality of life after knee replacement surgery. The Triathlon uses CT scan data to create a 3D model of the patient’s anatomy so that I can plan the ideal placement of the patient’s new knee,” Dr. Nayak offers Mako total knee replacement, as well as Mako total hip replacement and Mako partial knee replacement, a precise, robotic arm-assisted knee resurfacing procedure for patients not in need of full knee replacement.
